What is Gold Filled?

  • Extra care and proper storage is very important. Please wipe down with soft, lint-free polishing cloth each time after wearing the Gold Plated jewelry and store it in a sealed bag in a cool dry place to preserve the quality of the jewelry.

How do I care for my jewelry?

  • Each piece is selected with lots of love and care. Please handle your piece delicately and extend the jewelry's life by avoiding content with water.
  • Make sure to take off the jewelry if you plan to get wet such as going to the beach, pool, shower, bath, gym, spa etc.
  • Remove the jewelry before going to sleep, exercise or if you plan to do any physically activities. This is to avoid any unnecessary wear and tear.
  • Put on the jewelry last, only after you apply any make-up, skin care products, perfume, hairspray, etc.
  • Avoid contact with any harsh chemicals such as household cleaners, acid, alkali, corrosive substances, etc. This includes not using any chemical jewelry cleaners.
  • Wipe down your jewelry with a soft, lint-free polishing cloth and store in your JALEANIS signature pouch included with every jewelry piece. 

*Please note, our pieces are tarnish resistant, they are not tarnish proof. You can get the pieces wet, but to allow them to last longer we suggest to try to avoid getting them wet as much as possible. Only solid gold is 100% tarnish proof. If your items do turn, it can be caused by a metal-to-skin oil reaction. As each person's body oils make different metals react differently, it is not our responsibility to return or exchange your item. We ask you to please care for your items.
